The Executive Director establishes policies, determines priorities, leads in the implementation of activities in the areas of organization, promotion, design, economic restructuring , event execution and planning among many other responsibilities.

    Downtown Business Liaison

    Whether you are an existing business owner or just beginning to make plans to open your doors in Historic Downtown Kissimmee, our Small Business Liaison is here to assist you. Opening a business, while exciting, can also be incredibly challenging and confusing. Licensing, permits, inspections and more can lead to unnecessary frustration. The Small Business Liaison is here to help through all these processes as well as many other typical situations that may arise for both new and existing businesses.

    Marketing Coordinator

    The marketing coordinator’s responsibility is to work one on one with businesses in the CRA Main Street District to implement marketing campaigns that promote their business and Downtown Kissimmee as a destination. This consist of helping with any social platforms, graphic design, websites, any promotional material and text messaging promotions.

    Event Coordinator

    Event Coordinator at Kissimmee Main Street, plays a crucial role in enhancing the community's vibrancy. Event Coordinator expertly organizes events that showcase Downtown Kissimmee's unique charm, balancing large-scale events with over 100 vendors and also smaller intimate gatherings. Event Coordinator works in collaboration with local businesses in the CRA Main Street District is key to creating engaging and memorable experiences, contributing significantly to the area's growth and community spirit. This work is essential in making Downtown Kissimmee a lively and inviting destination.

Who We Are

Kissimmee received a Main Street designation in 1997 from the Bureau of Historic Preservation under Main Street Florida, located in Tallahassee and the National Main Street Center in Washington, D.C. The purpose of the program is to promote economic development in Kissimmee’s Main Street area by bringing in patrons, new business, and assisting existing businesses to flourish while preserving the historic feel of the downtown area. This fullfils our mission of perserving the past, and shaping the future.
