Kissimmee Main Street
The Kissimmee Main Street program is a local 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the preservation-based economic revitalization of our Downtown. We are active members of both the Main Street America Program and our community.
Our program is led by an Executive Director under the direction of the Board of Directors. Additional occupations in our program include a small business liaison , a marketing coordinator and a farmer’s market manager. We are funded by the City of Kissimmee, Osceola County Board of Commissioners and multiple sponsors. We are supported by The City of Kissimmee, and through local business, resident and visitor investment. Our work is accomplished primarily through contributions of multiple sponsors, concept production by our Executive Director, volunteers, committees of organizers, implementing activities in the areas of organization, promotion, design, and economic restructuring. These are areas of focus that help us accomplish our goal of preserving the past , and shaping the future.
Board of Directors
The Board plays a critical role in the local program by establishing policy, determining priorities, and assisting the Executive Director with implementation of activities in the areas of organization, promotion, design, and economic restructuring.
